Art Gordon Cash Registers was started in 1896 as a used furniture and equipment store, serving Philadelphia, PA and the surrounding areas. Since then, we have continued to serve the area's cash register needs. Our family owned and operated business is in its 4th generation of ownership, now run by Art Gordon Jr.
Our clientele is constantly growing, aided by the aquisition of G & I Business Machines in 2001, and service manager Alex Harvey. Never sacrificing quality, we've continued our committment to staying up-to-date with technology. Our products include used registers and new equipment, including cas registers, scales, hospitality systems and POS solutions.
Our staff is rounded out with Gordon Cash Register veterans Lisa and Cheryl. They bring the expertise of the Toshiba TEC line. Derrick, our installation and training technician, specializes in liquor control and security system installations.
We now offer a full line of commercial quality security camera systems, which consist of quality manufactured DVR ( digital video recorder ) units. Recommended units allow for remote viewing from any computer, as long as Internet access is available. We recommend cameras based on each business's individual needs, such as available lighting conditions, tight focus or outdoor uses. Our prices start at $3600 including installation. Costs vary by the number of cameras and distance of wiring.
