Art Gordon Cash Registers, Inc., started in 1896 as a used furniture and equipment store. The Gordon family has continuously served the Philadelphia area's cash register needs. Our company is now run by Art Gordon Jr, the fourth generation in the business.

It is with deep regret we announce the death of Art Gordon Sr. At 88, Art Sr. had over 70 years experience in the register business. He will be deeply missed.

Our family of clients is growing constantly, aided by the acquisition of G & I Business Machines in 2001,and service manager Alex Harvey. We have stayed committed to keeping up with technology and never sacrificing quality. Gordon Cash Register veterans, Lisa and Cheryl, round out our staff. They bring the expertise of the Toshiba TEC line. Derrick is our installation and training technician. He has specialized in LIQUOR CONTROL AND SECURITY SYSTEM installations.

We now offer a full line of commercial quality security camera systems. These systems consist of quality manufactured DVR units (Digital Video Recorder). Recommended units allow for remote viewing from any computer as long as Internet-access is available on site. The cameras are recommended based on each site's specific needs, such as available light conditions or tight focus or outdoor use. Prices start at $3600 including installation. Costs vary by the number of cameras and distance of wiring.
